Pregnant Women: Over 1l Pregnant Women, Kids Vaccinated From August 7-12 | Jaipur News

JAIPUR: The health department vaccinated over 1.4 lakh children and women against preventable diseases during the first phase of the Intensified Mission Indradhanush 5.0 program conducted from August 7-12. These children were left out during routine immunisation.

A senior health department official said the activity which started with dedication has yielded results for the state, as children who were not or partially vaccinated have been covered. The health department teams vaccinated more than one lakh beneficiaries on U-WIN, the online software, which was used first time. Any person can register his child by uploading mother’s Aadhaar card for vaccination. Then one can avail the facility of getting the prescribed vaccines anywhere.
In the next phases, the campaign will continue from September 11-16 and October 9-14 for giving vaccines to children up to 5 years of age, who were left out during routine immunisation campaigns. Under the programme, 1,09,082 children of 0 to 2 years, 57,700 children of 2 to 5 years, more than 81,000 children and 36,122 pregnant women deprived of measles rubella first and second dose will be vaccinated.
