Locals Say 2 Cops Involved In Kuldeep Jaghina’s Killing | Jaipur News

Jaipur: Demanding the arrest of two Bharatpur police constables for their involvement in Kuldeep Jaghina murder case, his family members organised a protest march from Bajaj Marriage Home to SP office in Bharatpur on Monday. The family also demanded that the accused in the Kripal Jaghina murder case—Vijay Pal and Kunwarjeet—be shifted to Sewar jail in Bharatpur from Central Jail Jaipur as both have threat to their lives. Police have also not ruled out the possibility of involvement of the two constables in the murder case, as one of them is the brother of Kripal Jaghina.
Many people gathered at the Bajaj Marriage Home and marched up to SP office to meet Mridul Kachawa, SP, Bharatpur.
“Ravindra Singh posted at Sewar police station is the brother of Kripal Jaghina who was murdered last year. How can police rule out his involvement in this revenge attack on Kuldeep, the main accused in Kripal’s murder case,” said a relative.
TOI spoke to the senior officers of Bharatpur police to know if there is any truth in the claims made by Kuldeep’s relatives.
“So far, we have found that constable Ravindra Singh, posted at Sewar police station, is Kripal Jaghina’s brother. Kripal was gunned down last year and Kuldeep and Vijay Pal were facing trial for his murder. Singh has been questioned to know if he was part of the conspiracy. If we find his involvement he will be booked for criminal conspiracy,” Kachawa told TOI on Monday.
Also, constable Pushkar’s two sons Amandeep and Kuldeep have been arrested. “Since the constable’s sons have been arrested for helping the assailants in fleeing and recce, the involvement of constable Pushkar can’t be ruled out,” claimed a relative.
Kachawa on this allegation, said, “His role is also under the scanner.”
Bharatpur police arrested 11 persons on Monday for liking and commenting on a social media post on Jaghina’s murder. “All were arrested for disturbing peace,” said an officer.
