UPA Congress: Nadda Says Upa Stands For ‘utpidan, Pakshpat, Atyachar’ | Jaipur News

JAIPUR: BJP national president JP Nadda on Sunday accused the Ashok Gehlot government of bulldozing the houses of Hindu immigrants from Pakistan while helping Rohingya immigrants from Myanmar settle down in Rajasthan. He also alleged that the Congress government engaged in appeasement politics and helped the accused in the Jaipur serial bomb blast cases get acquitted.
“Vasundhara Raje was the CM when the blasts took place, and the case was put through the fast-track court, which pronounced death penalty to all the accused. Then the Congress government came to power and did not send the advocate general for the hearings, which weakened the case. I charge Gehlot with helping the accused get acquitted due to appeasement politics,” said Nadda in his address to a rally after he launched BJP’s ‘Nahin Sahega Rajasthan’ campaign against the Congress government at Bilwa in Jaipur.
Further accusing Congress of vote bank politics, Nadda said, “You (Gehlot government) are giving Rohingyas Aadhaar card and voter ID cards to settle them and demolishing the houses of Hindu refugees from Pakistan.” He then asked the jam-packed gathering: “Do you support the government that supports anti-national forces and builds up its vote bank?”
“UPA of Congress stands for ‘utpidan, pakshpat and atyachar’, whereas the NDA (National Democratic Alliance) government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi is working with the mantra of ‘sabka saath, sabka vikas, sabka vishwas and sabka prayas’,” said Nadda.
The BJP chief directed the party leaders to take the ‘Nahin Sahega Rajasthan’ campaign to the people in the state from hamlets to urban centres. He has also released a ‘failure card’ of the Gehlot government and a video containing visuals of major crimes, corruption cases and communal incidents in the state.
Nadda said the Gehlot government was setting new records of corruption. “His (Gehlot) government has also set new records when it comes to crime against Dalits, women, tribals and children. The Congress government does not have any right to stay in power even for a day. We will bring corruption-free government in the state.” Claiming that Rajasthan had witnessed over 1,200 communal riots, he said the government released the rioters in huge numbers in these cases.
Referring to criminal cases of Thanaghazi, Khajuwala and the recent rape and murder case of Karauli, Nadda said, “Every day 17-18 rape cases and 7-8 murders are taking place. Congress has ruined Rajasthan, which was known for valour and courage.”
He described the joining of hands by the Opposition parties as a bid to protect the families or dynasts. “Congress is reduced to a mother, son and a daughter. The remaining are on contract. Even CM Gehlot is on a contract while Sachin Pilot is on a sub-contract. Samajwadi Party is reduced to Akhilesh Yadav and Dimple Yadav, Shiv Sena means Uddhav and Aditya Thackeray,” he said.
Quoting international agencies, Nadda hailed the economic development the country has seen under PM Narendra Modi in the last nine years. Praising Modi’s contribution to promoting and protecting the country’s culture, he asked the cheering crowd whether Ram Mandir was being constructed and completed in Ayodhya or not. “We want to keep the country ahead in terms of culture, but it has one obstacle: the Congress government in the state,” said Nadda.
The BJP chief directed the party’s leaders to take the ‘Nahin Sahega Rajasthan’ campaign to 2 crore people in the state from hamlets to urban centres.
We will bring corruption-free government in the state.” Claiming that Rajasthan had witnessed over 1,200 communal riots, he said the government released the rioters in huge numbers.
After the public meeting, Nadda in a closeddoor meeting with core committee members and state executive members said that the party had to stand together and work together in the state.
