Jaipur: The Jaipur police on Sunday arrested a 40-year-old man from Lucknow in Uttar Pradesh for allegedly duping doctors by clamining to be a health department employee.
SHO (Bindyaka) Bhupendra Singh said that the police arrested Ankit Jaiswal after a city-based doctor filed a complaint against him a few days ago.
The doctor alleged that the accused posed as an employee of the health department and cheated Rs 1.80 crore from him. The police then constituted multiple teams to track him down. According to the police, the accused had defrauded multiple doctors in various states, which led to him frequently changing his location. The police in Haryana had also been searching for him in connection with similar cases.
