No Role Of Rpsc Found In Bribery Case So Far: Acb | Jaipur News

Jaipur: ACB’s officiating director general Hemant Priyadarshi on Sunday said that no role of Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has been found in the bribery case so far in which four people, including former chairman of Rajasthan’s De-notified Nomadic and Semi-nomadic Tribe Welfare Board, Gopal Kesawat, were arrested for allegedly taking a bribe of Rs 18.50 lakh.
However, he maintained that after analysing the call detail records of the accused, their messages, chats and other available evidence, if any role of RPSC would be found, action would be taken accordingly.
“So far no direct role of RPSC has been found in the investigation. Still, after checking the messages, chats, CDR of the arrested accused if any role would be found, we will investigate it,” Priyadarshi said at a press conference at ACB headquarters.
He said that the four accused befooled the candidate who is the complainant in the case by making lofty claims that they had sources in RPSC. “How much is their access in RPSC would be probed. So far it is found that they were just claiming big to cheat the candidate,” Priyardarshi said.
He said the complainant said that the accused told him they knew one Manju Sharma. “So far we are ruling out any affiliation of acquaintance of Kesawat or any other accused with RPSC. Still, we will do the data analysis,” Priyadarshi said.
“I am assuring the candidates that so far the investigation says that the examination integrity is intact,” Priyadarshi said.
