Dotasra Takes A Swipe At Mins For Friendship With Bjp Leaders | Jaipur News

Jaipur: At the Congress state executive meeting held here on Saturday, PCC president Govind Singh Dotasra raised eyebrows by accusing some ministers of keeping friendship with BJP leaders.
Dotasra said, “Some of our people maintain a friendship with RSS-BJP, I agree. I know that officers are reshuffled at the advice of BJP leaders and not on the request of Congress MLAs or workers. When we go to the field, we get to hear such stuff.” He said there are just few leaders who hit back at BJP and RSS.
“This is not the time to maintain friendship with BJP. If the government gets repeated, it will be because of the organisation. The one who gives importance to the organisation will have a bright future,” the PCC chief said.
Citing own example, Dotasra said, “Rahul Gandhi had asked who is the best district president; then Rajashtan in-charge Avinash Pandey and Qazi Nizamuddin gave my name and I became a minister the same day.”
Dotasra advised Congress leaders not to be stooges of big leaders and act according to their wishes. “There were 39 office-bearers in the previous executive. We had formed a WhatsApp group for organisation works. Except four-five members, no one used to reply in that group. This time many of them have been thrown out for being inactive,” the PCC chief said, sending out a warning to the new office-bearers.
AICC in-charge Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa said the party district president’s position is higher than that of an MLA or minister. Randhawa said that on August 17-18, a joint meeting of state office-bearers and district heads would be held again, in which works of all the newly appointed office-bearers would be reviewed. “Officials whose duties are not found satisfactorily will be relieved of the responsibilities,” he said.
Randhawa said that office-bearers should take a resolution to work for the party and not for any particular person because everyone is an equal worker and everyone’s existence is due to the party.
Randhawa said that BJP rose at the top in the country from Rajasthan. “First BJP government was formed in Rajasthan. So, now it is our responsibility to wipe out BJP from the entire country, starting with its defeat in Rajasthan,” the AICC general secretrary said.
