Jaipur: The state BJP unit is facing a test to pull the crowd for BJP national president JP Nadda’s public address at Bilwa on Sunday. The party faced the embarrassment of drawing a crowd less than expected in a recent public event and has passed on instructions to concerned leaders of a jam-packed show.
This is the second major event since the state executive has been formed in the state leaving no escape chance for the state president CP Joshi from owning the complete credit.
Nadda will launch the ‘Nahi Sahega Rajasthan (Rajasthan will not tolerate) campaign in the public address which will see a series of public addresses in the state. Sources said that pandal made at Bilwa has a seating capacity of 4,000-6,000.
“Over 4,000 chairs have been placed at the venue and additional 4,000 chairs have been kept as reserve,” said a source. The venue falls in Jaipur Rural constituency of the party keeping the primary onus of filling the seats on the local unit of the BJP. TNN
