NEET aspirant from West Bengal found dead in Kota | Jaipur News

KOTA: An 18-year-old student from West Bengal, who was preparing for NEET in Kota, was found dead in his PG room at Mahaveer Nagar-II on Wednesday. The deceased was identified as Paritosh Koheri, a resident of Purulia district.
Koheri was found lying unconscious at the entrance of his PG room, following which the PG owner rushed him in his car to MBS Hospital where doctors declared him as brought dead, said circle officer of Mahaveer Nagar area, DSP Harshraj.
Harshraj said that Koheri shared his PG room with another student who had left the room to buy some edibles from the market. When he returned after 20-25 minutes, he found Koheri lying unconscious at the entrance of his room, the DSP said.
Police sealed the PG room and the body was sent for post-mortem after arrival of family members who were informed of the tragedy. The deceased was living in Kota for the past one year. He had been living in the PG room in Mahaveer Nagar-II for about four months, Harshraj said.
The reason behind the death is yet to be ascertained but prima facie, the teen was likely to have died of silent heart attack as he was perfectly normal last night and early in the morning, the DSP said, adding that the exact cause of death would be clear only after receiving postmortem report.
The roommate of the deceased told police that Koheri was not regular to the coaching class and would take online lessons, sub-inspector at Mahaveer Nagar police station Awadesh Singh said.
